My father introduced me to golf in 1987. I was hooked from the start!  In 1991 I won the junior club championship at St. George's Golf & Country Club and pursued a NCAA scholarship in the United States.   I attended Troy State University in 1994 as a member of the Troy State Trojans golf team.  Troy State had finished runner up the previous year at the NCAA II National Championships.  I then co-captained the Kennesaw State golf team.  After college, I won the Georgia sectional P.A.T competition by 8 shots and became a golf professional.  I assisted Master PGA professional Bert Seagraves at the Nelson/Seagraves Academy, in Acworth GA.  I was the Associate Golf Professional at Creekside Golf & Country Club, under head Professional David Elliott.  In 2000, I began competing professionally on various tours in North America. I competed against numerous PGA Tour and Major Championship winners, like Bubba Watson & Boo Weekly.  A  wrist injury forced my competitive retirement in 2003.

I have represented the Acushnet Golf Company as a Titleist & Cobra golf club technical expert.  I was an official Titleist golf ball performance fitter and Certified club fitter at the Titleist fitting center, at Pipers Heath Golf Course. For three summers, I was the lead golf instructor at Appleby College in Oakville, for their summer golf programs. Introducing the game to hundreds of kids, was an experience I truly enjoyed.

I have studied the swing philosophies of Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Jones, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Moe Norman and George Knudson.

I have completed a biography about my golfing  journey.  I have held 3 course records and have 8 hole-in-ones.  My lowest round to date is 61. In 2016, I competed in the PGA of Canada PAT event in London, Ontario, winning by 7 and earning fully exempt status.
